I write.
Or at least, I try to. Whenever I need to express myself, I pick up a pen and I write. Whether it’s short staccato stabs at the paper, or long looping lazy curves, the letters, words, phrases, and sentences materialize in front of me. And then, I feel better.
Sometimes I feel worse.
Of course it’s not paper anymore but a keyboard, my fingers tapping, typing the thoughts from my head. And always hitting backspace, only to type out what I had deleted in the first place.
And that’s honestly all you need to know. At the risk of sounding very self important, here are five more things about me:
- I am right-handed. But there are certain things I do exclusively with my left hand. For example, if I have to drive one-handed, I use my left. Same with riding a bicycle. Strange, right?
- I am technical. I’m a nerd, an engineer, a geek (computers - they truly are the wave of the future).
- I am artistic. I doodle, I design webpages, I play with colors, Photoshop, paper, cameras, and pens. I’m a wannabe designer, with aspirations of my own graphic design firm - it sure beats working for someone else!
- I am fond of Autumn. I’ve heard that people gravitate to the season in which they were born.
- I am generally quite open to everything, but I hate coconuts. It is the one and only thing I hate with a blinding, unyielding passion. I cannot take the scent, taste, or texture of it or any part of it.
As with so many things, this by no means is final. I’ll probably add, change, or altogether delete this if I think I need to.
If you want to know something, you could always ask.
